Drummer Done

The second day on the first tree, and the drummer is finished; there will still be more to go around him, such as the musical score and double helix pattern.

I had only the head to work on, and then added a pattern to the clothing and a moon to the drummer’s hat (as a moon was one of the requested symbols by the client).

Rather than continue with the design on this tree, I thought it better to begin with the musician on the third trunk ~ it will be easier to plan where to put the musical score, linking all three trunks together.

An early-ish finish meant we could fit in a trip to Hull Fair (one of Europe’s largest travelling fairs, and one of the oldest ~ the first being in 1278) !
