During May and June, Allen has been working on a private commission for Lightowlers bordering on Low Mill Lane. He is a tree carver and he’s been creating pictures of a frog, rook and owl on a tree at the side of Mires Beck. Not all of the carvings can be seen from the lane, but some can. A number of people from the village have been down to see Allen and Annette, as work has progressed. You might like to take a walk and have a look at the finished product.
