Bottom

A hard day ~ not only was the sun blazing down constantly, but most of the carving was done at the top of the ladder and stretching above head height. The ground is so uneven that any attempts to keep balanced result in instant sciatica! So all in all I was pleased to get this higher area finished today.

I just had energy left to chip back a bit if the area to the left of Bottom’s head, space for some leaves.

This ladybird stayed on the tree for most of the day.
